Power Electronics Laboratory
Introduction:
Power supply in avionics requires high reliability and being thin, light, short and small. Aircrafts, satellites and other flying machines all demand great and stable power supply systems to offer different loads. What’s more, the technique of power electronics can apply to some relevant fields; therefore, we established Power Electronics Laboratory.
Objective:
1. Build up students’ basic practical concepts and experiences of power electronics.
2. Develop students’ applied technique of power electronics in the field of avionics.
Teaching and Research:
1. Power electronics of aircraft practical training
2. Power supply inverters design of aircraft
3. Applications of solar power energy for miniature satellites
4. Relevant applications for battery chargers
5. Applications for new energy and renewable energy
